A Training оn Private Ecosan Toilet Building in Stepanovka

Оn May, 12—20, 2006 — a training on private ecosan toilet building took place in a village of Stepanovka of Odesa Oblast. This event has been hold in the framework of the project "Sustainable Development for All: ecological sanitation and waste-(water) management in rural areas of Ukraine". Stefan Deegener, the expert of Hamburg Environment University, was invited to be a trainer. At the training 2 representatives of "MAMA-86-Yaremche" and "MAMA-86-Nizhyn" were trained as future trainers for multiply the eco-san toilets in Ukraine.

On May, 13th the first seminar on ecosanitation took place. 16 local dwellers took part in it. In parallel the individual eco-san toilet was started and in a week it was built. On May, 20 a final seminar on ecosan toilet use and maintenance has been hold for 35 local dwellers.
