Round-table "On the road from London to Budapest"

National Environmental Nongovernmental Organization "Mama-86" will conduct the round-table "On the road from London to Budapest" on April, 28, 2004.

Fourth Ministerial Conference on Environmental and Health "the future for our children" will take place in Budapest, Hungary, 23-25 June 2004.

Why it is important for Ukraine to take part in the Fourth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health "The Future for Our Children", what problems associated with environmental children's health are the most urgent, does Ukraine need additional policy instruments for protection of children's health from negative environmental effects? — these and other questions will be addressed in the round table "On the Way from London Towards Budapest".

Considering the extraordinary importance of problems associated with children's health in Ukraine, "MAMA-86" holds a round table with the purpose to discuss priorities for Ukraine during preparation for the Fourth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health "The Future for Our Children", as well as results of implementation of the project "Initiating Public Participation in Development of Local Environmental Health Action Plans".
